Venue:Mymensingh Jilaporisad Auditorium, Mymensingh Sadar This career-focused and intensive hands-on workshop is designed for beginners, aspiring professionals, and hobbyists who aim to strengthen their technical and creative foundations in photography. Spanning everything from camera operations to commercial practices, the three- day immersive course equips participants with the knowledge, practical skills, and creative insights required to build a strong portfolio and pursue a career in photography. Each day blends theory, artistic exploration, and guided real-world practice to develop both individual style and industry-ready techniques.
Instructor Biography:
Mohammad Rakibul Hasan is a multi-award-winning Bangladeshi documentary photographer, filmmaker, and visual artist whose work spans advertising to human rights, climate change, and social justice themes. With over two decades of experience, Hasan has collaborated with global organizations such as the Grey Advertising, UN, Oxfam, IFRC, Asian Development Bank, and World Bank. He holds a BA (Hons) in Photography from Falmouth University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Photography, and studied at the University of Oxford (History of Art). He is also a Director’s Fellow from the International Center of Photography (ICP), New York. His films and photo essays have been widely exhibited and published, earning recognition at international film festivals and photo biennales. Hasan brings a deep understanding of ethical visual storytelling, field-based photojournalism, and aesthetic theory into his teaching, with a strong focus on helping participants shape viable photography careers.
